Ulrike Simon is a Senior Partner in Korn Ferry’s Frankfurt office and enjoys working at the context driven intersection of Strategy, People and Culture, advising clients on leadership, talent and organizational culture issues. Her focus on CEO and C-Suite succession management also includes executive assessments, board and top team effectiveness and executive development. Working across several industry sectors with a passion for both family and private equity owned businesses, she supports individual leaders, their teams and their organizations through transitions.
Trained as an executive coach, she works with companies and their boards on making the most of their talent pools by actively planning for succession and shaping organizational cultures that are aligned with the strategic intent. She has a reputation for discretion, empathy and diplomatic directness.
Mrs. Simon brings to her client engagements more than 20 years of experience in consulting, talent management and organizational development for organizations in Asia, Europe, Australia and North America. Mrs. Simon joined Korn Ferry from another leading international search firm in the leadership advisory services practice, focusing on organizations planning for C-level succession and transitions, executive coaching, team effectiveness and organizational culture diagnostic.
Prior, she has held various global HR Director roles in the insurance/reinsurance and worked as consultant for a premium leadership solutions consultancy whilst being based in Australia, Switzerland and Germany. She began her career as a psychotherapist working with a clinic for addictive behavior.
Mrs. Simon holds a Master of Business Administration and European Economics from Saarland University as well as a Master in Educational Science from the J.W. Goethe University in Frankfurt. She is a certified executive coach (Senior Coach DBVC // IOBC) and holds several accreditations in a broad range of assessment, psychometric testing, psychological counselling and organizational development. Ms. Simon is fluent in German, English and speaks some French.
